本课程调查并介绍了制造考虑的常见过程和设计. Student will learn about methods and equipment used to transform materials; the inter-dependency between geometry (form), 材料属性, and processes; their effects on the functionality of the manufactured artifact; and the processing of polymers, metals, and ceramics. 成功完成课程后, 学生将能够为工程应用选择材料和相关制造工艺.
